Andreas and Ana are parents to Siena, who was born in 2021 and started having seizures when she was 7 weeks old. Since then Siena has hardly lived a day without seizures. After a challenging journey of endless hospital stays, countless failed treatments, and learning everything they could about CDKL5 research, they decided to start CURE5 in Oct, 2023.
Andreas is a software engineer in the field of AI and has been a serial entrepreneur in the tech industry for over 20 years. He holds academic degrees in philosophy and neuroscience.
Ana is a data analyst and technical project manager with a strong passion for advocating for CDKL5. She represents the CDKL5 Alliance Brazil and serves as a board member of the CDKL5 International Alliance. Additionally, she has published a paper on CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder.
Lili and her husband Colin are parents to Margot, who was born in 2023 and started having seizures at 5 weeks old.
Lili and Ana met in Central Park in August of 2023 and immediately hit it off. With strong conviction that advocacy and active participation in driving research forward is the only way to ensure continued momentum in broad coverage of all possible treatments, Lili co-founded CURE5 with Ana and Andreas in 2023.
Lili works in infrastructure private equity as a Managing Director at Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock.
